The question is - is it worth it for students to acquire information to a satisfactory level of critical thinking?
It follows that if critical thinking has not been developed by the time of the final examination - then they will also process information and make decisions in working life - WITHOUT THE ABILITY TO THINK CRITICALLY. That means poor decision-making without understanding broad dynamic entities.
That means that Finnish higher education is fundamentally wrong and has failed.
And also that - that the level of critical thinking should be determined in university entrance exams - and those who do not have it should not be admitted to education at all.
The same applies to members of parliament and especially ministers.

Many students do poorly on critical thinking tests – Finland has a lot of work ahead, says professor
The Universities of Eastern Finland and Jyväskylä have studied the critical thinking skills of students pursuing a lower university degree in Finland. Almost 60 percent have skills that are at most satisfactory. "
