The basic rule of my nature painting - I always paint the atmosphere of nature. That's why the subject can be very insignificant - because the decisive thing is whether I get the atmosphere for it. So I don't consider anything in nature secondary - and I don't strive for beauty - but for the atmospheres that I have experienced in nature.
